Hey, Jim, well said. I personally feel good, but nervous, about the newest developments. I hate the racism that is getting ready to rear its ugly head, but I figure I can do my best to evade the whole thing.

Isn’t this the only thing we can do? Just hope and pray that, no matter who is in the throne, it turns out for the best?

Isn’t the best way to further God’s kingdom to go out and individually affect people? I sure hope so, because I can’t think of a better way.

Hi Jim - great post! I laughed hard, I probably hear half of those terms every day. One word we use that is not on the list is “oversubscribed”, meaning a person or team that has too much work loaded on them. I used the word at home once talking to Kimberly, and she looked at me funny and said, “What, did you order too many magazines or something?”

I can’t believe that it is going to go off the air. I love Mister Rogers. They need to put it on DVD. I want my children to be raised on Mr. Rogers, not all that other stupid stuff that is out there.

I’m a bit torn on the big game. I’ve been a Bears fan since the Super Bowl Shuffle Days, but I live in Indiana, so I need to be a Colts fan as well. UGH!! Who to cheer for?!?!

great post Jim. No question in my mind that Bono is a believer. In fact, the entire band is.

They don’t wear it so obviously on their chest for many reasons, the least of which is their fear of being labeled a christian band.

The main reason i think is b/c of the religious background between catholics and protestants in Ireland. Religion has destroyed that country. So coming from that worldview makes sense i think.

Most american christians get their underwear tied in knots b/c Bono has a salty tongue.

I think we are wise to look at what people DO just as much as what they SAY. I think his heart speaks for itself.
